The host is so lovely and made me feel very welcome. He and his family made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The apartment is in a very charming rustic house, with a terrace with lovely views. Nice quiet location and about 10 minutes from the bus station. Very comfortable with everything I needed.
Nothing I didn't like. Just bear in mind it's a bit of an uphill path to the place.

The family was very welcoming and let us choose from a couple of different apartments. The children happily played with our 2 year old and he really enjoyed that. There was a parking space for our car and we were able to do laundry albeit through the use of the owner's washing machine. The owner offered us drinks and snacks on arrival. Go into it with the attitude of it being homestay with additional privacy rather than a completely private apartment stay.
There was a bit of a culture shock compared to some of the other places we had stayed. For similar prices we have stayed in much more modern apartments around both the country and region and as such was expected a bit more at that price point. However, we were able to cook, sleep, park, do laundry, had a happy child and as such all of our boxes were ticked.
