Apartman Dove

This host, his son and his mother were very nice to me. She brought me some preserved pears to eat! The room was very quiet at night.

The room was a little warm and I couldn't turn down the heater. It would be perfect for most people, but I like cold rooms. The hill is a bit steep but there is a bus that goes up every 20 minutes if it is too much for you.

Vedo is possibly the best host we've had in many years of travelling. Vedo met us from the coach and took us to his lovely home and gave us a map and suggestions of what to see. The apartment was warm and cosy and very clean, with everything we needed for our two night stay. Vedo's mum brought us delicious Bosnian coffee and home grown apples in the morning. The apartment is a 10 minute walk up the (steep) hill from the old town (you can get the local bus if you don't like hills) and there is a shop and an excellent bakery minutes away, and then the whole of the old town lies before you. We would definitely stay again if we return to beautiful Sarajevo 😍 We forgot to take photos for our review, but the images on booking com are accurate 👍
