Zeer zachte sofa’s ( zijn aan vervanging toe) en de oncomfortabele barkrukken aan een keukeneiland; een gewone eettafel met 4 stoelen is beter. Ontbreken van een anti- slipmatje in het bad.

This is a magnificent property set in an idyllic Cotswolds location with magnificent uninterrupted views. Absolutely stunning.

Could have done with some kitchen knives/bread knife and peeler... we had to go and buy some to help with preping and cooking our dinner...

The property is in a great location. Lovely style of interior / exterior. Great garden/ seating area.

The cleanliness requires improvement. Everything at a glance seems great. When entering the bedrooms, we noticed a few large clumps of dust on the floor by the side of the bed. We have asthma, so immediately went to clean, and upon looking under the bed, the floor was caked in dust with multiple large clumps of dust. This was the same for both rooms. Honestly, both areas hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. We didn’t take photos (wish we had) or call the ‘emergency or cleaning’ telephone number in the folder) but after a long car journey / day, we just needed it cleaned, so I had to clean under both beds as best as I could with the mop provided. I used antibac wipes on the header of the bed and side tables in both rooms as there as small amount of dust but it was grime that came off, so pleased we did that. A few of the larder areas also had crumbs and dirt in there so we limited the use of items in the kitchen. The rest seemed ok but didn’t want to look in depth as we wanted to try and enjoy the break. Like I said no photos but this is more of an improvement suggestion for the property management company. Small changes would make a real difference, such as the mastic in the bath and shower areas of both bathrooms. The mastic is moldy and it’s not pleasant to look at, let alone bathe in. Like other reviews, the Aga in the kitchen is permanently on and makes the whole property rather hot; this cannot be adjusted so just keep in mind if renting the property during the summer. There are only patio large doors in both bedrooms, so it does get uncomfortable; we managed around this in spring time with opening all doors when we arrived back at the property in the evening and closing again when we went to bed.
