Characterful old cottage with an excellent location.

Full of character and an excellent location- quiet yet a stones throw from the high street. Nice to have the garden to sit in at the end of the day.

Disappointed in the damp and musty smelll in the sitting room. Aware a roof leak was being fixed while we were there but this seemed to be a longstanding problem - condensation inside windows. Expensive stay for the experience

It is the full on cottage experience old style.

The central location allowed you to really get to know Burford. The host had been very thoughtful and left some milk in the fridge for us and it was nice to have a cup of tea on arrival. You have your own little garden space and the dining area was lovely for sitting in to have a nice dinner.

For me personally it felt like it was time for a refit, the stone floors and rugs needed some tender loving care and all the different heating system took a while to heat the cottage and work out. The main thing that worried me was all the different level of floors getting from the bedroom to the bathroom along a narrow hallway with the stairs just inches away. Some better lighting in the kitchen would also help when cooking.

a lovely cottage, burford is a lovely area . if you have trouble with stairs then probably not a good place as the stair

lovely little cottage. A bit dated but we liked it . Very Cosy and comfortable - great location.

Some of the Neighbours seem to be a little nosy.

Great location for Burford

Great character cottage with all the modern amenities. Really comfortable beds, great log burner, plenty of hot water and new bathroom. Great location for Burford and great garden of you are taking a dog (it’s large and very secure)

Parking seems to be a problem if you return mid day. The property does not have designated parking and we had to park in Burford High street a couple of times and collect the car at night when there were spaces on our road again. In my opinion the stairs are too steep for elderly/less mobile or children

Zeer teleurstellend en daardoor veel te duur

De locatie was was prima, op loopafstand van de gezellige pubs, restaurants, winkeltjes en een buurtsupermarkt.

Op basis van de reviews én de hoge prijs hadden we een fantastische cottage verwacht. Dat viel zwaar tegen. Het was viezig (etensresten op de vloer, vettige glazen met vingerafdrukken, huisdieren geur en veel stof), de tuin kan wel wat liefde gebruiken, vaatwasser werkt niet naar behoren, missende batterij in CO2 meter en kapotte afzuiging in badkamer. Dat laatste heb ik direct gemeld maar niemand heeft contact opgenomen. Het Whatsapp gesprek werd na 4 dagen verbroken.
