As we entered the apartment, multiple lights didnt work, and the towel holders were literally coming off of the wall. One of the garage door openers didnt work and so we spent forever thinking we couldnt get the car in the garage. THEN on the last night the keypad to the apartment DIED. with no backup key. So we had to wait over an hour after midnight for the apartment manager to come let us in. She was so rude. upon contacting VRBO there has been ZERO communication from the host. they wont respond to me OR VRBO. we still have yet to receive our damage deposit that we paid upon booking. we left the apartment spotless. absolutely ridiculous.

We arrived late in the evening and immediately had trouble with the buzzer system to gain access to the building. Someone exiting let us in. Immediately upon arrival we attempted to communicate with the hosts via the vrbo app to ask about extra blankets - one of the bedrooms was incredibly cold. I never received any kind of response from the hosts about this specfic request, for the durarion of our trip. The next day, I reached out to the property manager listed as the contact for immediate responses to requests at the unit. Again, no response for several days. Finally, on the second to last day of our stay, I received a response. They said they would send a technician to check the heating system, which clearly wasnt working in the cold room - the issue was never resolved and i was not at the unit during the day that day, so it seems they did not send anyone.I was disappointed with several other aspects of the property. The listing was supposed to have 3 closed rooms, but one of the bedrooms was divided from the hallway by a translucent, flimsy screen. In the pictures of the unit, it was shown to have a sliding door installed separating it from the common space, but this had been broken and removed. The owners failed to update about this change in privacy. Under beds/in cupboards were dirty, and a large painting was on the floor when we arrived because the screws holding it had been improperly installed. A towel hook was flimsily attached to the wall and kept falling off.

Unfortunately the sliding door did not close all the way so the apartment was very cold. The heat would not turn on either. But other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

The condo was immaculate and the open floor plan made it feel very roomy and comfortable for our family of 5. The beds were extremely comfortable and after exploring Vancouver, Whistler, and Cypress Mountain during the days and evenings, those beds were very much appreciated:) Having coffee in the mornings on the balcony was a wonderful way to get the day started too. Although the condo is in an area rampant with homelessness and open drug use, as the host does mention in the synopsis, we did not feel unsafe when walking around…however, I would only walk around that area in the daytime. There are many great restaurants and shopping areas all within 2-3 km of the place.

We came Vancouver to watch an NHL game of our favorite team it was an amazing time. We chose this place because it was centrally located and looked wonderful. It was in fact wonderful, parking was included so maneuvering the city was very easy. We had many adventures, it was nice to come home to this wonderful place.

This property was perfect for our group. Each of us have our own room. Very spacious common areas, well equipped kitchen. Bright, really clean apartment, and super comfy beds! It's so conveniently located: cool coffee shops and restaurants nearby; efficient public transportation; walking distance to some city highlights. The only downside was that the heating system did not work during our stay: it got cold early in the morning and late in the evening.

The hosts are great and responsive. We had a family emergency and they let us move our weekend work no hassle. The condo is clean and simple. One shower was broken but I did get it to work. One fob needed me batteries which sucked because we were in the car trying to get into the under ground parking but the garage door would lift. It's on the third floor and there is a lot of street noise and the blinds couldn't keep the street lights from shining through. Sleeping was pretty tough. Lots of interesting places to get food but you need to be careful not to stray, one bylaw officer told us about groups of homeless people who are physically aggressive. The condo is nice but not luxurious as described

Yes, good location near Gestown as advertised. But next couple block a lot of homelessness, scary to walk anywhere. And be careful of your money and value things such as credit cards may be stolen. Someone may come into the room and search for money and credit cards. You may notice it after you checkout.

The building is well maintained. Good security. Secure underground parking. The condo was clean when we checked in. Worked very well for our party of 6…four parents and 2 children. As the host points out in the listing, the building is two blocks away from a pretty sketchy neighborhood, but we had no safety issues. Easy walk to Canada Place and downtown attractions.

The apartment met our needs and was clean. The instructions on how to gain access was confusing and we had trouble the entire time when we left and came back entering the building. The surrounding community isnt the best, with alot id drug problems. However an uber takes about 2 minutes to arrive and a block or two over it safe. Takes just a few minutes to get to Canada place & most attractions

My family and I stayed at this place before getting on our Alaska cruise. The apartment was beautiful and worked out perfectly. The only thing I will say is there is open drug use around the area when walking in certain directions and if you are not comfortable with that you may not like this area. Other than that this apartment was perfect and the check in process was very easy.

Quick overnight stay on our way back from skiing. The place was lovely - exactly like the listing. Super clean, well stocked, excellent bathrooms, and an amazing rooftop patio. Communication with the host was superb, and check-in and out were super efficient and instructions were fully detailed. It was great to have a secured parking garage as the neighborhood was a little rough. The neighborhood was the only reason for the lower rating, which is beyond the host's control. Had this condo been in another part of the city, it would have been a full 5 stars.

The unit was perfect for our family of 5 to stay and walk to and from BC Place daily. It is located in an area of Chinatown that is safe, but we were warned not to wonder too far from our street and we didn’t. The unit is very modern. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were especially perfect for us. One of the bedroom’s door was not working. We would rebook.

We had a nice time staying in this condo. The bedrooms were a bit small but worked for our teenagers just fine. The balcony was nice and the kitchen area was well accomodated. Location was in the heart of Chinatown which gave us lots of great food options. Would recommend this condo.

Place was lovely, clean, and check in process was smooth. We found it very hot in the apartment. There were two AC units, both did not work/ were not set up. You could open the windows for air, however, being at an intersection there is a lot of noise coming in from the street - especially throughout the night. Blackout currents would be great in the bedrooms to block out the city lights when trying to sleep.
