Posizione ottima in pieno centro. Struttura molto suggestiva e con i giusti comfort. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Appena siamo arrivati abbiamo subito notato per terra in bagno un “batuffolo” di capelli di cui allego la foto e in generale, purtroppo, in bagno a terra c’erano capelli qua e là (ovviamente non nostri perché eravamo appena entrati nella struttura). La doccia purtroppo inizialmente emana un cattivo odore quando si apre il soffione. Purtroppo il bagno non ha finestre così come la stanza se non una piccola finestrella sopra alla cucina, ma questo lo sapevamo. C’e comunque un condizionatore ben funzionante.

The stairs up to the room are incredibly steep and challenging to navigate even with carry on luggage. There’s a small balcony but not large enough to sit. And don’t love the step down into bathroom. The room is small with large furniture- so it’s a bit tight

A magical place. Authentic -all in one- Bedsitter with the characteristic vaulted lime stone ceilings in a rustic old building. Beautiful ambience, very cozy and well equipped. I felt very safe, double doors, screens and multiple locks! Amenities inside were modern, and functional, the place was clean, great mattress and crisp sheets with lovely bedding. Additionally, the Host organized another accommodation( his friend) nearby, as I wanted to extend my stay, but this was already booked. That was very kind and helpful. I did appreciate that very much.

The Access procedure was quite complicated - instruction via messages - ONLY, after I had sent a picture of the Passport the Host would release the code for the lock key box. As there was no WIFI access from outside, I had to leave my suitcase in the courtyard of the property (unattended) to find a cafe, order some drink, so I can log into their WIFI to complete the "REGISTRATION" - Once you travel along way, finding the way via train and bus to your accommodation and then lug your suitcase walking across cobblestones through the Piazza into laneways - you get tired and really "just want to get in" kick of your shoes , have a shower and relax before you explore. The whole "check in procedure" was exhausting and took away from the very romantic and authentic experience. If I had known that this procedure is required by government, I would have sent the paperwork from my previous location (where I had WIFI) ahead of the arrival, which would have been so easy. Message to the Host: Send all the above info a couple of days BEFORE CHECK IN - with small map of "walk 15 Minutes to property", as it is "tucked away"- advising that it is inside the Piazza "no driving zone", and there are "Tuk Tuks" available, who are happy to transport the guests ($5 Euros) "WITH THEIR LUGGUAGE" right into the heart of this most amazing place. It would have been so much more memorable and not taken away the shine from the very unique Polignamo a Mare experience. Thank you.

Le coté pittoresque du logement . La petite cour à l’extérieur joliment aménagé par la personne habitant l’appartement du 1 er étage . L’emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville .

L’accueil très sommaire de Dario à l’image des équipements du logement . Il y a un four, des feux pour la cuisine mais rien pour cuisiner . Pas même de quoi prendre un petit déjeuner correctement. Pas même un tire bouchon et des verres pour boire un bon verre de vin des Pouilles . Aucun message pour expliquer comment faire le check-in . C’est à vous de le contacter et les réponses arrivent tardivement . Vraiment décevant ! Je n’ai jamais été aussi mal reçu dans une réservation faite sur Booking
