Gorgeous quirky property beat to Calais. Some real love put into the design and internal features, were loved the nautical theme. We played boules in the garden and the kids also enjoyed the football table!
The house wasn’t short of anything, albeit we only stayed for one night.
Access to bedrooms quite steep, not great for people with mobility problems, small children, or toileting in the night! Children slightly disturbed by next door’s tree display, but we assured them this was probably a tradition rather than anything more sinister!

Secure parking and lock book facility meant that it was great for arriving late and not having to worry about unpacking the car.
Steep steps up to the bedrooms. Not a problem for us but won’t be able to recommend to my parents due to mobility issues.

Really well equipped kitchen, lovely garden and location, great to have the boule set and table football.
It needs photos of the stairs and floor plan layout as the stairs were more like a ladder and rooms separated so not easy if you need to check on kids in the night in a different room. No toilet paper was provided, not sure if this was just missed this time.

The house is interesting and full of character, with many nice features and a great secure parking space. However, it’s a shame that the service does not match the quality of the house.
Access to the bedrooms could be much safer with a proper staircase instead of ladders. We were four guests but only provided with two towels. The kettle was very dirty and unpleasant to use. There were also no toiletries available (no shower gel, soap, or similar essentials).
