Kyamon Luxury Villa with Heated Saltwater Pool Near Chania

The villa was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped. The heated pool and peaceful location made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

הייתה לנו חוויה מעולה בוילה! המקום היה נקי, נעים ומאובזר בדיוק כמו בתמונות. בעל הדירה היה אדיב וזמין לכל שאלה. היה לנו עיכוב בטיסה ביום העזיבה, והוא בא לקראתנו והסכים שנישאר בוילה עד השעה 16:00 בלי בעיה, מה שמאוד עזר והקל עלינו. שירות מדהים ויחס אנושי וחם. ממליצים בחום!

A lot of space, the heated and very clean pool is big enough that you can actually swim in it. Clean white sheets and towels. The villa meets Scandinavian standards, i.e. much better than the average Greek level. Very comfortable luxurious beds, TV in every room, PlayStation, very decent air conditioning in every room (definitely livable even in winter). Parking in the courtyard, secure fenced property, i.e. children cannot go anywhere from the territory by themselves and there is even a playground for children on the territory. The host responded quickly to questions and was very helpful and friendly. It must be taken into account that a car is recommended for movement, which is actually normal in Crete. Although in reality you could live in the villa without a rental car, for example, the bill from the Chania bus station by taxi to the villa was 25 euros and the taxi to the Chania airport would probably cost less because it is only about 3 km away. Spar with a surprisingly large selection of food and essential goods can be found about 2 km away and Wolt courier also works.

- Very spacious property - Garden is nice and well taken care of - Kitchen is very well equipped - The cleaning staff that visited the property were very nice and polite - The host was responsive when issues came up and they were handled very quickly - Location is next to the airport and close to Marathi and Loutraki

- The construction and furnishing of this property are very low cost. Aside from not really constituting this as "luxury", it created some structural issues - specifically very high humidity inside the rooms, walls are pretty thin, the soap dispensers in most of the bathrooms were broken - We unfortunately encountered pests, We found a giant cockroach in the bathroom which was not a pleasant experience. The host responded very quickly and sent pest removal services the next morning and I get that the house is close to nature however this was not an experience I wanted to deal with when staying at a property of this price point. In addition, at night there were bats flying around the swimming pool which prevented us from using it - There are no blinds in any of the windows. There are only black out curtains but they do not block the light entirely so in the morning prepare to have a lot of morning light in the room. - Opening the garage door was a pain. If you were inside and wanted to leave you had to open it from the monitor inside the house and then rush to the car because the door stayed open for one minute. Having a remote control for the door would have been nice - There were no cleaning supplies whatsoever provided and we had to bring our own. I would have preferred to have basic cleaning supplies available than a free wine bottle. - The booking listing said that baby gates were available which was not the case so would recommend correcting that to an accurate description of what is available. - Check-in time at 4pm is very late and check out time at 10am is very early. Would also prefer self check-in and self check-out
