Rose Cottage - Cosy cottage in Millers Dale

Lovely cosy cottage and very spacious and its got everything you need for a nice time away , Access was easy with a key box outside code sent by host a couple of days before, Great communication with Ian the host and at hand if needed . Local pub about 10mins walk away with good pub meals , ( would recommend booking a table as its always busy with hikers and a touch as there's no street lights and not much of a path ..) Would definitely stay again

Nothing to dislike

Wonderful location Very comfortable Milk and cookies a nice touch

Difficult parking space

Excellent cottage - really convenient location just 15 mins from Buxton and Bakewell. Ideal for exploring the area.

Parking was limited - we had two cars and could fit them in the designated parking but it was kerbside, passengers need to get out before you park so you can fit snuggly. BUT it wasn't a massive issue tbh , just worth noting.

The cottage was cosy and the log burner was beautiful. It was however extremely dusty, there were lots of ornaments and fake flowers that were caked in it. We pulled the portable gas fire out and there was thick dog hair behind.

Cleanliness lacking
