Coop's Landing - Charming seaside bolthole

Quaint fisherman’s cottage in the centre of historic Deal and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the High Street. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom spacious. An ideal base to visit Deal and the surrounding area.

The stairs were quite steep and the ceilings low in some areas but that’s only to be expected in a cottage like this.

The house was immaculately clean and the location was excellent. It was easy to get access to the keys without any problems. We loved all the little extra touches that were in the house for example the welcome basket, coffee pods for the machine (which wasn’t listed so was a nice surprise), the chairs and bits and pieces to use on the beach as well as the normal things you would expect to see in a house. It was also lovely that we were literally one minute walk away from the beach!

Whilst it wasn’t a problem to park the car a way from the house, on the Booking.com website it clearly states that there is parking on site at the property, which is not the case. We used the free car parking further up on the beach and walked back so it was fine, however it might be a problem if you are expecting parking on the property. Perhaps the website information needs to be changed so it is really clear there is no parking on site at the property.
