Krapche House

The host was extraordinarily kind and welcoming throughout our stay, even generously driving us to the bus station on our departure day. The location is unbeatable, situated directly across from St. Sophia Church in the heart of Old Town, making it easy to walk to historic sites, the lake, and local restaurants. Inside, the top-floor living area is very spacious and filled with natural light, featuring historic character, a comfortable bed, consistent hot water, a well-equipped kitchen, and access to a shared washing machine.

To clarify the layout for future guests, the top-floor unit is a single-bedroom apartment rather than a two-bedroom, accessed by narrow, twisting stairs that can be challenging with heavy luggage. Because of its central location, there is noticeable street noise from passersby, early morning garbage collection, and glass recycling from a nearby restaurant right beneath the bedroom window. The apartment feels very lived-in with personal belongings present and limited storage space, and the original wood floors are beautiful but quite squeaky when moving around at night. A few minor adjustments like blackout curtains in the bedroom, a bedside lamp, and a tightened toilet seat would make for a more comfortable stay.

The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. It’s located in the old town, so everything is really close.
