Villa Gaia Sorrento geo-bio

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Gaia. The view is honestly hard to describe. You can see Sorrento below, the whole Bay of Naples, and Vesuvius in the background. We took so many photos because every morning and every evening it looked different and beautiful. The villa itself was lovely, very clean and really comfortable. Clean sheets, clean towels, pool towels, everything felt well looked after. The garden is amazing and the pool area is such a nice place to relax. The air conditioning worked really well too, although because the villa is up the hill it also felt cooler and quieter than being down in Sorrento, which was perfect after busy days around the coast. The location was great for us. It is peaceful and relaxing, but still only a quick 5-10 minute walk to Sant’Agata, which is a lovely town for coffee, ice cream and really good food. It was a perfect base for Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Coast, but also a place where we were happy to just come back, relax and enjoy the view. The biggest thank you has to go to Elio. Our holiday would not have been the same without him. From the moment we arrived in Naples until we were boarding our flight back home, he was always available on WhatsApp and helped us with everything. Transfers, excursions, restaurant bookings, local advice, anything we needed. His restaurant recommendations were incredible, especially Villa Crapolla and Zio Sam. Proper local places, amazing food, lovely people, and definitely not places we would have found by ourselves. Villa Gaia is a very special place, but Elio made the whole experience even better. We left feeling very grateful and would happily come back.

The villa is very clean and as described. The views across Sorrento and the bay are stunning, and it is in a peaceful location. The garden is a lovely space to relax and have meals, and the little pool is great in the hot weather. The hosts were very communicative and helped us book taxis and restaurants most days.

Not an issue with the villa itself, but be aware that the villa is quite far from Sorrento town, around 15-20 minutes in a taxi and it is not walkable. This wasn’t a problem with the villa, it was our misunderstanding of distances on the map, but if you don’t have a car and want to explore you will need to use taxis/the bus to get everywhere. Elio (the host) was great helping us arrange transport.

Struttura situata in una posizione magnifica con un giardino che scopre una panorama unico, Elio e’ una persona magnifica, ci ha accolto divinamente dando per tutto il soggiorno la sua disponibilità ad organizzarci di tutto, facendoci veramente rilassare Veramente stupenda, grazie mille davvero!!!

La villa è bellissima, super confortevole eravamo in 7 e siamo stati veramente comodi. Ognuno aveva i proprio spazi ed è molto importante quando si è in tanti! Abbiamo trovato tutto, anche la cucina era completa di tutto ciò che potrebbe servire! Lenzuola e asciugamani puliti (una delle cose più importanti). Il giardino una vera chicca con una vista super! E la cucina esterna? Perfetta! Ideale se si viaggia con amici e familiari che amano mangiare! Ma la cosa più importante è stata l’accoglienza, l’ospitalità e la gentilezza del proprietario Elio! Una persona veramente fantastica! Ci ha fatto sentire a casa, ci ha dato un sacco di consigli preziosi ed era sempre ma sempre disponibile! Ci ha anche fatto trovare un omaggio super apprezzato per il compleanno di mia madre 🥰🥰 anche Fabrizio una persona disponibile e gentile! Veramente grazie per aver reso questi giorni perfetti! Se volete stare bene e sentirvi a casa vi consiglio di scegliere Villa Gaia ❤️ grazie ancora!! ❤️
