Everything is spectacular! Host was friendly and always available to help. He offered us food and help going up the hill. The villa itself is in good condition with spacious bedrooms, clean bathrooms, nice gardens and a decent kitchen.
Owning the panorama of Sorrento, everything worthies the price. Villa location was half up hill, easy access via taxi or local bus, so never try to pull luggages uphill yourself🤣 Definitely a 5-star airbnb🥰❤️

MAGNIFICENT VIEW (just like the photos or better) and the place is well appointed (real beautiful furniture, not ikea stuff). Great water pressure as hot water thought shower is small (not for plus size). Host is very communicative.
This is not a place for elderly folk unless you are willing and able to drive a car all the way up the mountain/hill and/or hire a private care service for the entire time you are here. Bus doesn’t come super often and you still have to go up-down steep slopes for a small bit to get to/from the bus stop. It is incredibly difficult to drive up the hill all the way unless you are used to driving in narrow ways where your car mirrors are almost touching the sides. Grocery service not available year-round so check with host before you book.
We worked around all the problems so it was still a fantastic stay and worth it!

Amazing view, very comfortable and well equipped villa; the host was great and supported us in everything we needed.
Consider there are lots of stairs to get in, not suitable for everyone; also- There was bo coffee machine in the villa and since there is no coffee shop available nearby, it was needed

Villa Caruso is a wonderful magical place. The breathtaking views alone make a desired destination. Priora is a lovely area . Carmine, property manager, was amazing from start to finish! He responded very quickly to all our requests and helped with any concerns we had. He definitely went ABOVE and BEYOND! The kitchen was well stocked to allow for coooking and I did ALOT of cooking - Carmine and Luigi made sure all the appliances worked or replaced/ substituted them to address our needs. Also, he booked us a wonderful boat tour of Amalfi and Positano! - well worth it!
Like many places on the Amalfi coast there are a number of steps to get to town. If you rent a small car you can park very close. There is really not much within walking distance but there is a bus stop at the nearby church Santa Maria del Toro. There is also SITA buses but they are a little bit of a walk. I wouldnt advise taking a taxi- expensive.
Mostly I was upset with BOOKING - as you can see in the title- they told us that there was a private pool but that was not with this rental- we had the 2 bedroom unit on the first floor. The private hot tub ( not a pool) was a part of the 1 bedroom unit upstairs. We could have use of the pool for a few. I was disappointed that there was nothing in walking distance. Although the local resturarnts provided car service - but we didn't use that . Also there are no water views from the bedrooms but there are views a beautiful garden area.
