About this house rental
Surrounded by a beautiful garden with tropical palms and the traditional Sicilian flora, with English meadow and protected by thick pines, the house is ideally located at Lido di Noto a pleasant place when you can relax thanks to the garden and even in the closest days you can peacefully sleep in the night.

Lido di Noto can be considered a good start point for an holiday aimed at:
• to visit the surrounding towns: Noto (also called The Stone Garden, U.N.E.S.C.O.’s heritage, at less than 8 km), Syracuse (just 24 km in 20 minutes and one can reach the chief town where the beauties,most of all left by the ancient Greeks, undisputed reign; just for istance: the Greek Theater, the Orecchio di Dionigi, the FonteAretusa), or other towns like Palazzolo, Modica and Ragusa;
• to visit the places of extraordinary landscape beauty (Vendicari, CalaMosche, Marzamemi, the Marchesa di Cassibile beach, Pantalica).

Il parco davanti alla casa consente di vivere e di godere insieme alla famiglia la vacanza. Il "lido azzurro " è il primo stabilimento ed è perfettamente attrezzato.

Gute Ausgangsposition für Ausflüge, sehr schöner Strand. Super nette Menschen, Giovanni konnte alle unsere Fragen beantworten, jederzeit erreichbar und sehr bemüht. Sehr netter Empfang.

Casa perfetta per una coppia, dotata di ogni confort, funzionale, pulita, con condizionatore, doccia esterna, barbecue, tavolo esterno e un meraviglioso e curatissimo giardino sotto dei pini che assicurano fresco anche in estate. La spiaggia è vicina così come un piccolo supermercato. Ottima per raggiungere le mete turistiche della zona.
I proprietari, il prof. Alessi e sua moglie Adriana, sono simpatici, accoglienti e disponibili... grazie per il bel soggiorno.

We stayed for 4 warm days (max 30, min 25 celcius) early October. The cottage has one good bedroom with airconditioning, but the living/kitchen is rather small. We would not recommend the house for more than 2 guests. The kitchen is a bit basic (eg. only one wine glass) , but why cook yourself with so many great places to eat out in nearby Noto? Nice garden, quiet and well maintained, but the private terrace is rather small and has limited views.
Two downsides: the shower cabin is very small (80x80 cm), and there were many cats and kittens wandering around the house, begging for foor and attention.
Lido di Noto was very quiet (end of season we guess) with a nice east-facing beach for an early morning swim.
We enjoyed our stay!
