Sérénité, raffinement et sobriété, dès notre arrivée notre hôte nous a mis à l'aise et c'est occupé de nous durant nôtre séjour avec un professionnalisme digne des établissements de luxe . Le Ryokan est magnifique, au calme à la campagne tout en étant rapidement accessible à 5 minutes de l'autoroute. Et que dire du repas et des petits déjeuners Japonais, un visuel soigné, un dressage graphique et chaque bouchée offrait une explosion de saveurs, avec un équilibre subtil. Encore merci pour cette parenthèse enchantée, ce séjour d'exception, cette expérience mémorable.

No words can describe how much we loved our stay. Sometimes you will find a little treasure and this is one. The hospitality, the love they put in this place, the kindness. For example, when we arrived our daughter wasn’t feeling well. They took such good care of us by providing medical aids. The house is just beautiful, with all the details and different rooms. We had all the space we needed, even more! The kids loved the garden, the bath-house with the onsen. We also had breakfast and diner and also the quality of the organic food is outstanding, right out of their garden and prepared with love. It is their mission to give the best service they can, you can feel it right after you arrive and still when you leave. Thanks kimi and family!

Beautiful, quiet, rural location, within walking distance of Hijirikogen train station and town. A truly unique stay and well worth the journey to get here. Stunning food and unmatched service from the kind and generous Kimi-san and family. We had our 6 month old baby with us and were truly welcomed and cared for.

The Ryokan was very thoughtfully designed and decorated to reflect the values of the owners and the culture. It was very serene, absolutely beautiful, gorgeous garden. A tea room, a dining room, a nap room…all designed with comfort and warmth in mind. Kimi and his family were amazing hosts and we had a fantastic time! Kimi made sure to drop us to the nearby station every time! And the one time we insisted on walking the 20 minutes but looked like we might miss the train - Kimi somehow came along to pick us up and drop us off perfectly in time. He had seen us leave and kindly drove over thinking we might need help. Just as beautiful as the ryokan was, we had a wonderful time connecting with Kimi and hearing his story too - a wonderful person! And his mum is also amazing! Every morning she cooked us the MOST delicious food we have had in Japan! We have been trying some Michelin star restaurants and hole-in-the-wall type local places too but, my goodness, her food was some of the most delicious we had on the entire trip! Honestly I 1000000% recommend this stay and we will most definitely be coming specifically to Omi again just to stay at this beautiful Ryokan and to meet its kind owners again.
