The spacious living and dining area, with high ceilings, striking architecture, and a wood-burning stove, is flooded with light and bathed in sunshine time and again.
The large sofa invites you to unwind or watch your favorite movies on the 65-inch smart TV in a cinema-like atmosphere, and the cool Marshall Bluetooth speaker is ready to play your favorite songs.
The two spacious bedrooms are lovingly and elegantly furnished and invite you to enjoy relaxing moments and sweet dreams.
A special highlight for spa lovers is the spacious bathroom with a whirlpool and sauna. Here, after a wonderful day at the lake, you can enjoy even more pure relaxation if the mood strikes.
Whether you want to cook for yourself or not, you’ll love the custom-built kitchen. It’s a state-of-the-art feast for the eyes, where you’ll find everything you need for your favorite meals. The Jura fully automatic coffee machine takes pleasure in brewing a truly great cup of coffee.
As true dog and garden lovers, your hosts have also perfectly planned and beautifully designed the surrounding property for you.
Enjoy even more sunshine on the beautiful sun terrace and relax to your heart’s content on the comfortable lounge chairs.
Of course, dogs are also warmly welcome, and to ensure they can enjoy their vacation and run freely outdoors if they wish, the property is fully fenced.
Our vacation rental is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to make your stay as pleasant and eco-friendly as possible. The apartment features a solar power system that provides clean, renewable energy for daily use. There’s also a wallbox where you can conveniently and safely charge your electric car for a fee. We’re proud to offer our guests sustainable and eco-conscious accommodations.

P.S.: The Seepark is not yet fully completed—there may be temporary disruptions caused by construction vehicles. We have taken this into account when setting the price for Villa Hempen. Nordhorn—idyllically situated in the heart of the County of Bentheim and just a stone’s throw from the Netherlands—earns its nickname “Water City” due to the numerous waterways and canals in and around the county seat. For example, the Vechte—an 182-kilometer-long river flowing from the Münsterland Lowland Basin to the IJsselmeer—runs around the city center. Eight bridges connect the traffic-calmed City-Vechte Island with the “mainland.”
“Villa Hempen” is in a quiet yet central location. Beautifully situated on the edge of Seepark Nordhorn, this exceptionally luxurious vacation home is not far from Nordhorn’s wonderful city center. Its convenient location allows you to enjoy great day trips, even to the Netherlands, which is only 5 kilometers away.

Check-in day: During peak season and around holidays, check-in is generally on Saturdays, or by arrangement. During certain periods, we have minimum stay requirements—we’d be happy to provide you with the specific dates, but please understand that short-stay surcharges may apply. However, this will be explicitly stated in our offers.
Earliest check-in time: Generally from 4:00 p.m.; latest check-out time is generally by 10:00 a.m.

Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Hempen. Das Haus, die Lage und der Sevice, alles war perfekt. Der Bungalow ist wunderschön und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Durch das eingezäunte Grundstück konnte sich unser Hund frei bewegen und die langen Spaziergänge in dieser wunderschönen Natur taten Geist und Seele gut.
Die Stadt Nordhorn kann man zu Fuß und mit dem Boot erkunden und beides ist sehenswert und die Menschen sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen.
Wir würden uns sehr freuen ein zweites Mal zu kommen.
