The pictures do not do justice! Very convenient location, but enough distance from the chaos of downtown Puerto Viejo. The landscape is still young but before long the entire property will be very private!! Rise was great with responding to any questions or needs. Rise did mostly communicate when anyone would be entering the property, although, I was surprised a few times by staff getting tools or other maintenance on the property, unaware that they were coming. That being said, the staff was very friendly and I felt safe.

We loved our stay in Puerto Viejo and at Palma Rosa! The home is well equipped with everything we needed! It was clean and comfortable for ourselves and another couple with each of us having our own private bathroom, always a bonus!
The kitchen is well stocked for staying in and cooking, the huge outdoor table was great for morning coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day to one of the many beaches.
The property managers were fantastic to deal with, they were prompt and courteous in their replies, helped us with anything we needed. The weekly cleans were very much appreciated and all the staff they had on site, from the cleaners, pool maintenance, yard maintenance etc were super friendly and polite.
We were completely at ease staying at here and at Puerto Viejo all month. We rented a car for the longer tours, but spent many days/nights walking back and forth to town and were never concerned about safety.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
