The location was great--remote enough to feel safe and cozy, but close enough to all the destinations on our list. We loved the pool, the indoor/outdoor living, the common spaces, and the wildlife. I loved waking up to the chorus of tropical birds. We felt at home cooking our meals in the kitchen and spending time together in the evening as a family. Our hosts were very attentive and gave recommendations when we asked. We ate at a local soda, and found a cute little smoothie shop in the neighborhood. Loved our laid-back time in Puerto Viejo.
The beds were a little stiff, but the rooms were very clean and safe.
