Villa Olivetta con piscina

We had a wonderful week in this beautifl villa. It is 6 minutes drive from the centre of Alghero and only about 20 minutes from the airport. It is nestled in an estate of olive trees. It is very private and set amongst beautiful surroundings. The villa itself is lovely - it has a large lounge area with plenty of sofa space, a kitchen and dining room with a large table and two double bedrooms upstairs that share a main bathroom. Downstairs are a further 4 bedrooms - 2 are ensuite and 2 have extra beds in for children (or adults) to sleep on. There is aircon throughout the villa. We were a family of 11 crossing 3 generations and the villa fully met all our needs. It could comfrotably sleep 14. The pool was incredible -with abundant sunloungers, a large outside table for dining and a sofa area too. The pool was cleaned every day to a very high standard. The hosts were incredibly attentive and kind- any question we had was immediately answered and the house was stocked with things for us to use to a very high standard. Antonella was lovely - thank you so much for looking after us so well, we would recommed this villa to our family and friends. We visited Alghero several times by car and also travelled to some stunning beaches in the car with white sands and snorkelling. We visited neptunes cave by boat which was a lovely day out.

Nothing, the villa is beautiful, the hosts were exceptional and Algehero is incredible.

easy walk into town. Very secure (gated). Lots of hot water. Plenty of bedrooms. Pool was cleaned every day and rubbish was taken daily. 2 large fridges The hosts were friendly, spoke good English and were available when we had a problem with the iron. They were very good at suggesting local restaurants and a reliable taxi service

There are dogs belonging to the hosts which bark frequently through the night and also run up to you when walking up and down the drive. Some of them are not friendly and we were scared by one of them who approached us growling when walking down the drive (and we are dog lovers!) The whole villa is advertised for 14 people. There is no way it is adequate for 14 people other than the number of bedrooms. The pool is small. There are only 7 loungers and both the kitchen and the seating area outside are too small to accommodate 14 people. There were 6 of us which was fine The air conditioning downstairs is set for the whole floor rather than individual rooms but was effective and quiet A welcome pack of some basics would have been a nice touch. Every other villa we have stayed in has provided this

Just outside Alghero 10 mins drive old town within a gated area with code to enter, spacious quiet and the feeling of being safe for the kids to run around and play. 2 fridges/freezers washing machine , dishwasher. Excellent pool cleaned every morning !

Cannot complain about anything.
