Villa Olivetta con piscina

easy walk into town. Very secure (gated). Lots of hot water. Plenty of bedrooms. Pool was cleaned every day and rubbish was taken daily. 2 large fridges The hosts were friendly, spoke good English and were available when we had a problem with the iron. They were very good at suggesting local restaurants and a reliable taxi service

There are dogs belonging to the hosts which bark frequently through the night and also run up to you when walking up and down the drive. Some of them are not friendly and we were scared by one of them who approached us growling when walking down the drive (and we are dog lovers!) The whole villa is advertised for 14 people. There is no way it is adequate for 14 people other than the number of bedrooms. The pool is small. There are only 7 loungers and both the kitchen and the seating area outside are too small to accommodate 14 people. There were 6 of us which was fine The air conditioning downstairs is set for the whole floor rather than individual rooms but was effective and quiet A welcome pack of some basics would have been a nice touch. Every other villa we have stayed in has provided this

Just outside Alghero 10 mins drive old town within a gated area with code to enter, spacious quiet and the feeling of being safe for the kids to run around and play. 2 fridges/freezers washing machine , dishwasher. Excellent pool cleaned every morning !

Cannot complain about anything.
