Without the amazing staff (Yunus/Saeeda/lovely cooks+cleaners) we would have probably moved. It is hidden away, which could be a great asset in the hustle and bustle of the medina, and has pleasant characteristics and features. The breakfast was well presented, as were the eggs made on request. Wifi was strong, especially if, like me, you were working whilst away. Rooftop view was worth it, although very windy.

Maybe expectations were far too high having stayed in an amazing Riad outside of the city. Seems city-Riads have a distinct way about them and although most if not all reviews pointed to this Riad being amazing, felt it was a little removed from the praise given. Rooms were small, and quite dank to be perfectly blunt. With it, you can't escape the odd smell too (maybe common with Riads in the old city). Bathroom had no door (so odd) and everything felt outdated. The whole Riad could have done with a major facelift. After the first night, I reached out with a semi-complaint, which was (and still has been) ignored- a cockroach complaint, so beware!
