We had a wonderful stay at Riad Bab Essaouira. The riad was very clean, the location was perfect, and the terrace offered a beautiful view over the old town. Our host, Simo, was extremely kind and welcoming. He explained everything to us and prepared a fantastic breakfast every morning. The only small issue was that Google Maps could not find the exact entrance, but after a quick WhatsApp message, Simo immediately came to pick us up. Highly recommended!

- Delicious breakfast. Simo's melouis were the best I had in Morocco! - Good location at the heart of the Medina
- Misleading Room Details: The description was inaccurate; there was no safe, no functional sofa bed, no cable channels, and no flat-screen TV - Accessibility Issues: The stairs leading to the room are very steep and narrow. I would caution anyone traveling with elderly guests or young children - Heating & Layout: The living area is completely open to the elements, separated from the common area only by a curtain. This made the room very cold and impossible to heat during the winter - Lack of Privacy: The soundproofing is poor; we could hear everything happening inside the riad and could even hear the neighbors through the walls
