We had an AMAZING stay at Casa Surya Paraty all thanks to the lovely host Patricia. She was very very accommodating to us, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay and an enjoyable time in Paraty. Patricia made some awesome recommendations about things to do around town, she helped us organise a boat tour (which we most definitely recommend btw) she offered a laundry service for a cheap and reasonable price, she helped us with our borrachundo bites by lending us some creams, and made great recommendations for bug repellents, she was very responsive on WhatsApp and all in all was the BEST host. THANK YOU Patricia :) In regards to the accommodation, its tucked away from the main street, which is perfect quiet retreat, a 10 minute walking from the main centre and 15min to the port. very good location. we stayed in the double room with private ensuite, the room was spacious, had table and chairs, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was extremely clean! the room has a ceiling fan which is perfect to cool down, and plug sockets next each side of the bed which is perfect. the shared areas, like the kitchen is spotless! super clean and has all the amenities a kitchen should, the living room is cozy, but spacious and has a large sofa with a rocking chair. the outside porch has a hammock and a table and chairs perfect setting to relax. just outside of the house, there a restaurant, we didn't get the chance to try the food, but the smell was wonderful. this is there perfect place for couples, who don't mind sharing with others and want to relax and explore. plus you will b looked after very well by Patricia and co.

Great size room and well equipped kitchen, close to local supermarkets and laundrette. Lovely walk into Paraty along the river / canal. Host was excellent and really helpful throughout our stay.

Difficult to contact / alert the host of arrival for check in without a phone sim. Property would benefit from access via lock box or similar for checking in.

The staff was super nice and helpful, they gave us a lot of advice on what to do in paraty and around. They even had a shared kitchen with a lot of appliances to prepare some meals. Would definitely recommend!

A recepção da anfitriã foi acolhedora, o quarto e o banheiro estavam perfeitamente limpos, o cuidado com os detalhes, o colchão e travesseiro eram ótimos, a localização é ótima, o ambiente é simples e charmoso, não espere sofisticação. Voltaria de novo tranquilamente. Ficamos na suíte privativa com banheiro exclusivo. A cozinha (bem equipada, com utensílios) e a geladeira são compartilhadas, não tem microondas. Não tem garagem, mas deixamos nosso carro na rua porque ali é muito tranquilo e não tivemos nenhum problema. Recomendo bastante!

Desapontado com o quarto

A área comum era super espaçosa e limpa.

Porém o quarto em si não foi nada bom… extremamente úmido, mofado e com um mal cheiro, acho que as roupas de cama não foram lavadas pois já na primeira noite senti cheiros que não eram meus e o lenços tinha manchas escuras parecia sujeira. Por isso não achei que valeu a pena o valor pelo o local afinal fora mais de 250 reais por dia

O quarto que ficamos até tem conforto, equipamentos, porém é bem apertado. Mas nada que atrapalhe e está condizente com as fotos do booking.

La amabilidad de la persona que nos atendió, con disponibilidad para nuestra llegada a la hora que queríamos, posibilidad de dejar las mochilas el día de salida, y su ayuda para cualquier duda.

La cama era bastante dura y desde primera hora de la mañana se escuchó bastante ruido por huéspedes en la cocina y poniendo la lavadora.
