STABLE COTTAGE

The property was a well executed, well equipped and stylishly decorated barn conversion in the gated grounds of the owners own property. It had private outside space with a view of the neighbouring medieval church and sight across to the pub opposite yet was not overlooked due to wall around garden. The parking was secure and the kitchen area was well equipped. The feature log burner was a bonus but the central heating was more than adequate.

The church bell struck the quarter hour but we soon came accustomed to it. No bath but a big walk in shower. Bed was comfy but softer than we normally prefer.

Lovely cottage

Spacious property but cosy aswell. Furnished perfectly and didn’t go without anything! Gorgeous welcome favours (pastries, milk, orange juice, tea/coffee, yogurts and prosecco) were a lovely gesture and a lovely surprise!! Location was perfect for Goldstone Hall and pub opposite seemed friendly. Garden area was gorgeous and it was a shame I only stayed 1 night so I was unable to enjoy a coffee. Bedroom was spacious and bed was very comfy, rainfall shower was amazing.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The wine, pastries, milk and juice were very welcome.

A few cobwebs about that could do with removing.
