The property was walking distance from the main touristy place in Samarkhand. They had a kitchen whch we would share with other guest which was convinient for making breakfast or ordering take away and eating in the dining area.

I highly recommend this hostel! The owner was kind enough to wait for me to check in early (though I over slept and arrived late…). He speaks English fluently, which was really helpful to me.

Great host, great location, and the property is great too. We appreciated having access to a kitchen, fridge, and laundry. The decor is very cool and interesting. Walking distance from most attractions and there are stores just down the street. We enjoyed our stay here.

This was by far the best place we stayed in Uzbekistan. The host was accommodating and extremely helpful. He is also a wealth of knowledge about local history and culture. He is super approachable, fluent in English, and happy to talk your ear off about local history or his collection of fascinating antiques, which are on display throughout the guest house. I highly recommend this place. If you're coming to Samarkand, this is the place to stay.
