About this house rental
Leave your everyday life behind and enjoy your vacation in this spacious and modernly furnished house, which offers plenty of room for up to 6 people to relax and have fun. You’ll also have access to a beach chair on the beach. This cozy, non-smoking vacation home is located in the second row of a quiet vacation home community in Cuxhaven-Duhnen. The Duhnen sandy beach and the ahoi water park are just a short walk away.
The vacation home has three bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 people.
From the entrance, you step directly into the large, light-filled living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto your own garden, featuring a spacious south-facing terrace with seating. In the garden shed, you’ll find space not only for your bicycles but also for a parasol and parasol stand.
The spacious living-dining area inside the house features a cozy couch, a TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a separate dining area. The kitchen, which opens onto the living area, is equipped with an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, and a dishwasher, among other things. In addition, the first floor features an utility room with a washing machine (available for a fee) and a fully equipped shower room with a window.
A staircase leads to the upper floor, where the bedrooms and another shower room with a window are located. The largest bedroom is equipped with an electrically adjustable box-spring bed, an additional TV, and a walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms each have a closet, two single beds, and a raised double bed measuring 160x200 cm. All bedrooms have exterior blinds and fly screens.
You can conveniently park your car(s) in front of the house.
In addition, this vacation home provides you with a beach chair on the beach (seasonal, available starting May 1).
Pets and smoking are not permitted in this vacation home.
Please note that starting at the end of 2026-2027, construction noise may occur due to construction work on Dünenweg (in the immediate vicinity of the Sirius vacation home).
Check-in is available daily from 14:00-16:00 or after 16:00 via the key safe.
Check-out is by 10:00 a.m.—please return the key to the rental office or via the communal mailbox.

Great location, perfect size house, good outside seating and play area. Nicely made and clean-feeling beds.
Not so good:
minimal supplies to keep house/esp kitchen clean. There were 6 of us, and so it was annoying to have had only one spare toilet paper roll and to have to go out and buy package. Same with no paper-towels - and only one dishtowel available.
And no dishwashing liquid (and only 2 dishwasher tablets for the week)
No detergent or directions for washing machine. Coming from overseas and needing to purchase those items we would not use much of - was annoying.
No directions how to do trash - not everyone lives in Niedersachsen,or Germany, so we had no idea - went with what we saw in the containers.
Would have been helpful to have had some set of easy directions.
As we were packing up to leave, discovered the very low drawer (under the dishwasher?) which underneath some placemats had a binder with information in it - too late! That would have been helpful to have out on table. When mentioned to property manager, she just huffed "you should have known that was there" - ridiculous comment. Property manager initially very helpful, which was appreciated - but the in-person interaction upon leaving left a lot to be desired.
