I liked the easy access to Casco Viejo and also the neighborhood down the hill. th immediate neighborhood was mostly great - lots of immigrant families and shops, but there were a couple of blocks very close by that had' working girls' in the evening - so the vibe was a bit weird. the immediate neighborhood was good though.

the apartment was very dark, and stuffy. the only window opened onto a shared patio - which had a similar window access from the apartment across the way. we cleaned the patio ourselves - trash, cigarette butts, loose patio furniture strewn around. we were lucky to have quiet renting neighbors across the way - but you had to luck up and close the window when gone - so the place was like a dark stuffy cave when you returned. the kitchen was impala and functional, the bathroom also, though again - no windows.
