Best Stay Copenhagen Apartment 1550

Die Lage war optimal! Alles in der Nähe einschließlich Metrostation.

Die Wohnung ist leider nur über eine Stiege erreichbar und das Bett im zweiten Schlafzimmer ist zu schmal für zwei Personen; Das Bad ist sehr klein und man spritzt beim Duschen das WC an – das ist in Kopenhagen aber anscheinend üblich; der Abfluss beim Waschbecken ging sehr langsam;

This light, bright apartment was easy to find and in an amazing location.The kitchen had plenty of equipment for cooking and the rooms were clean and welcoming.

Nothing.

The apartment is very spacious, with lots of room for our family of four to spread out. The windows are really big and fun to operate, and when both sides are open a wonderful cross breeze cools the place down quickly. We enjoyed the quirks of Danish design and views into two courtyards. It's also hard to imagine a better location - centrally located to Nyhavn, Rosenborg Castle, the Stroget, great restaurants, steps from transit - the best!

The "wet room" style bathroom was a bit of a nuisance. We each had to squeegee up the water after showering or risk getting wet feet when using the toilet. When checking in, beware there are two green doors on the Ny Adelgade 10 with lockboxes - the first labeled 8-10, which we thought was our place. After the code didn't work we called and the helpful representative informed us it we needed the next door, which was just marked with a 10. Most nights were very quiet but the first night (a Monday) at around 11pm, there was a loud, hysterical and drunken party in the courtyard that lasted until another tenant shouted at them to keep it down, after which it eventually petered out - we were too jet lagged to care too much.

Great location very close to bars, restaurants and places of interest. Beds were very comfortable (but no mattress or pillow protectors!). Apartment was light filled.

Entry to the apartment was via a courtyard which was less than inviting - overflowing bins and a large hole in the cobblestones which was a definite trip hazard. The stairwell to the second floor apartment was very grubby and the front door was tricky to shut requiring a huge shove, ok from outside , difficult from inside so you didn't catch your fingers. But the biggest gripe I have is lack of mattress and pillow protectors - Yuck! And very unhygienic. Apartment had been cleaned but not very well - clumps of dust in the bedroom and less than sparkling kitchen sink.
