The stairs were unexpectedly such a difficult part about this stay and location.

Our stay at Villa Carrino was excellent in every way. The location was a great choice, with easy access to the centre of Positano and the nearby bus stop. Marco also showed us a shortcut that made the walk to the town centre much quicker and more convenient.
The accommodation was impeccably clean and full of authentic Italian charm and character. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
A special mention goes to Marco, whose hospitality was outstanding. He welcomed us personally at the property, provided plenty of useful local information, and paid great attention to every detail to ensure a smooth and pleasant arrival.
Although there are many stairs to climb, this is part of the Amalfi Coast experience and is the case almost everywhere in the area.
We highly recommend Villa Carrino and would gladly stay here again when visiting Positano.

Quiet and private villa with comfortable amenities and a great view of the city. Reasonably priced.
The location was deceiving as the city center wasn't far but the steps to go down to the city were not ideal. This is not a suitable location for the elderly or those who wish not to spend money on taxis getting to the city center. Beware of the steps!
