About this apartment rental
The apartment is located a few minutes walk from the Colosseum, Circus Maximus and Palatine; even closer are the Antonine Baths (Caracalla) and the Archaeological Promenade.
It is located in a building of 1934 in the center of the characteristic district of S. Saba, just near the ancient church from which the district is named.
The entire property has been completely renovated in the last months of 2014 and was paid particular attention to the choice of the smallest details; the decor is shabby chic style with oriental variations and different accessories are original of the 20s / 30s.
It 'a large bedroom with built-in bed, slats and mattress memory, a living room with sofa bed for one and a half, sought the kitchen area and large bathroom with shower.
The apartment has central heating, not suitable for the disabled, and has the
feature to have very thick walls and be a basement but with large windows, a situation that allows a natural air-conditioning keeping the room warm in winter and cool in summer with a constant temperature of about 20 degrees.
Just this location determines the unique architecture that 'the name of the property, that is, the vaulted roof of the environments that make up the house; the ceilings are made from time "barrel" and brickwork, this element of strong characterization.
For guests there are two city bikes (new) with which to reach the very near archaeological sites of the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and the Baths of Caracalla, easily accessible on foot.
As a curiosity for pizza lovers, it is reported that around the corner is one of the pizzerias in cutting the best in Rome.

Location was in a quiet neighborhood but still close to major sites like Forum. Owner was very accommodating on check in. Great place overall and we will try to rent again next time we go to Rome!

Host was very welcoming and helpful in answering questions. Good location only 10 minute walk from a subway stop and 20 minute walk from the Coliseum. Could hear walking sounds above the bedroom late at night but maybe just a renter. Neighborhood has a small grocery store, restaurant, pizzeria and park.

We enjoyed our first visit to Rome and our stay here was great. The space was exactly as described and as the photos indicated. Directions were clear and check in was smooth. The only thing to note that the sidewalk going up the hill is quite deteriorated which makes bringing luggage up very challenging, not the property owners fault in any way but something to be aware of upon arrival.

Nothing bd to say here, I have just stayed in other locations in Rome that ultimately felt easier to get around in. Perfect for a singleton or couple, it was clean and just fine for 2 nights.
