8 / 10Excellent·May 2026
Room was small but perfect for two people. Centrally located and steps from the Colosseum. Easy to navigate around the city great spot for spending a couple of nights we did not cook or use any of the kitchen appliances. The outside courtyard is a very nice touch. It’s near subway so making getting around the city easy close to the train station about a 20 minute walk. Only comment would be that the pillows were definitely in need of an upgrade and was missing a wine, cork and bottle opener. Otherwise a lovely pleasant stay.

The location is excellent — it really feels like the Colosseum is right in your front yard. The metro station is also nearby, and we didn’t need to take a taxi at all.The apartment itself is quite old, and the furnishings are a bit dated and not very well organized. When booking, the bedding in the photos didn’t look very appealing, but when we arrived, we found proper hotel-style white sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases that were fresh and clean. So while the facilities are dated, cleanliness is not an issue. The bathroom is small, and the shower space is quite tight. However, since the three of us are of average build, it was still manageable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we especially enjoyed using the moka pot. At home, we use an electric coffee maker, so it was a nice and refreshing experience to try a more traditional one.The host is also very generous. When we arrived, there were only 2–3 sheets of kitchen paper left. Since we were staying for three days, I asked the host for more, and they promptly brought two full rolls. Many places don’t even provide kitchen paper these days, so although it’s a small thing, it made our stay much more convenient. The sofa bed isn’t perfectly flat — it dips slightly in the middle and sits quite low to the ground. However, it was still comfortable enough to sleep on. My son slept in the loft bed and absolutely loved it.Overall, staying in a locally styled, older apartment was an enjoyable experience.

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to stay in Rome. The check in was so easy with lovely Sara attending to our specific needs and Fabrizo texted us to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for an exquisite visit.

We did not expect so close, just a 15 seconds walking and you will see it! Every day we will see it at least twice! Also very close to subway station and actually is a transportation hub because it’s location.Air conditioning IS WORKING well, Roma IS hot in later July!Bunker bed could be better if with a thicker mattress.Maybe because it’s Europe City the restroom is kind of small but good enough, just don’t compare with US.Highly recommended.
