About this apartment rental
Cozy little one bedroom condo on the 4th floor at The Florence, right on the beach with uninterrupted ocean views from the private balcony. You’ll love this place because of the location, the kitchen, the comfy king bed and the views. There is a queen pull out sofa sleeper in the living room. A great couples getaway, this intimate, den-like vacation home is the perfect backdrop for a low-key, romantic getaway. Pool and a hot tub. Free Garage and onsite parking.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required.

Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.
A rental agreement is required and will be sent to you for digital signature after booking.
All guests must adhere to the rules of the building.

Location, location, location! Right on the beach! Amazing sunrises, fabulous beach afternoons, and a quick zip to the other side of the island for incredible sunsets. Easy entry, great parking, clear instructions within the condo. Clean and stocked with everything we needed for a winter break.

Considering the price, I thought it was a pretty good deal. Right on the beach, very clean, quiet, well-furnished (although as usual for a place like this, the knives and some of the other kitchen equipment were substandard). Parking was generally inside, a little tight. A couple of criticisms: the water pressure and functioning of the kitchen faucet were terrible, the bathroom sink was missing any sort of stopper or trap, and the refrigerator had some cold zones that froze our soda and vegetables. Overall, though, we were pleased.

The rental was very clean and convenient. Host provided everything we needed. However were disappointed that we weren’t informed the pool and hot tub would be closed during our stay. Also, there was no bbq area as listed.

I am overall pleased with staying here. We brought 2 elderly dogs to see the beach, and for that, it was great. Understand with this listing, you are paying for the view and location, which both are great. Loved that dogs are accepted. However, it is an older outdated building. There was a stain on the pillow case in the bedroom, and there are stained throw pillows on the couch from the 70’s. The unit was overall clean other than that. They only supply you with 1-2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. so make sure to bring your own. I would expect a host to supply these basic things at the very least when paying the price we paid. As long as you aren’t expecting luxurious, this is not a bad stay. Parking permit was not in the room when we checked in, but the host did respond quickly and brought one up same night.
