About this apartment rental
Beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment with two terraces, located in one of the most sought-after residential areas in the eastern part of Nerja. It's just a 4 or 5-minute walk to Burriana Beach, Nerja's main beach, where you'll find an abundance of bars, restaurants, and all necessary amenities. The Balcón de Europa, Nerja's town center, is only a 15-minute walk along a quiet residential street or a 7-minute drive away.
The Residensol complex boasts a secure gated entrance, and there's a lift from the road level up to an open courtyard and garden area where tropical plants grow in abundance. Our apartment is accessed from here via a short staircase.
The 85m² apartment features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, one of which is en-suite in the master bedroom. The fitted kitchen includes a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator, as well as small appliances like a toaster, electric kettle, microwave, and coffee maker. The interior is of high quality with marble floors and solid pine doors. There's a spacious, dual-aspect living-dining room with access to a terrace offering sea views.
The master bedroom has sliding "French windows" that lead to a large, sunny main terrace with 180° views from the sea to the Sierra Almijara mountains to the north. This terrace includes an outdoor kitchen, equipped with a portable grill, washing machine, and ample outdoor space. The terrace also connects to the kitchen, making it an ideal spot for dining and entertaining.
The apartment is equipped with a 55" Smart TV with integrated Chromecast. Free air conditioning and high-speed fiber optic internet are also provided.
During all the year, all guests have free access to the spacious private swimming pool and garden.

I found the property to be as presented, with a lovely big deck with lots of sun as well as a smaller one with shade. Having a bit of a ravine across to the other side of the main road, made it feel like there was lots of space without being crowded by other buildings, and it was a quiet complex.
The kitchen was well-stocked, Mercadona is a 12 minute walk up the hill so cooking was easy. I also found the main bedroom was comfortable and made for a good sleep. The pool was also well-maintained.
The walk to Burriana Beach is 5 minutes, into town is 15-20 minutes. Taxis are a little hard to come by here, a main taxi stand is on C.el Chaparil though.
The check-in process and key-return was a little far, a 33 minute walk mostly uphill if you don't have a car, and there are several sets of stairs up to the unit itself. So be mindful with heavy luggage or if you have any mobility issues.
The trade-off was the view and the openness of the space itself, worth it if you're staying for a few days overall.
