We really liked the general apartment and it was very clean upon arrival, everything was very easy to access with a book explaining local amenities, the apartment, destinations nearby, how to use certain things, safety contacts and more! There was also a little bottle of wine and a map - it was very nice to be welcomed to after a long day of travelling. The beds were super comfy, there was great AC, all channels on the TV, washing machine, stuff outside on the balcony to bring to the beach such as a beach ball and an umbrella… so much! It was very straight forward and felt truly like a home away from home, also the views from the apartment were very nice and the balcony right the way around was lovely. The actual building is very convenient, there are mini markets nearby, you can walk to mercadona, and the main coast of beaches is very easy to get to! We did ask for a later checkout and they said unable to do but let us keep all our luggage in their office at no additional cost, very kind staff! Thank you so much for having us.

Upon arrival, there were ants all over the floor. I think there is an infestation on the balcony that if you don’t monitor bleeds in, so we had to deal with that ourselves upon arrival which wasn’t nice to come to deal with, told the staff and said it was under control and they just said ok let us know how it is, not very involved but they didn’t seem to come back inside they just stayed on the balcony but if we left food out too long they’d start to come - I think it’s just an issue with the apartment complex. Otherwise everything else was great, there was no toilet paper or washing up liquid though which would’ve saved a couple of extra pennies!

I was arriving fairly late, which ended up being even later because my flight was delayed. The arrangement to pick up the keys from the garage by the motorway would have been awkward if arriving by bus, less so by taxi, though in either case it did at least guarantee availability. A lock box would have been easier, though less secure. As it was, my parents were already in Nerja and were allowed to collect the keys for me, from the offices, so in that respect SM Inmobilaria could not have been more helpful and my parents said they were great to deal with.

See above. Had I been travelling solo, the stop off at the garage would have added time and/or expense as I'd likely have needed to take a taxi from nerja, with my cases, to collect the keys and then return to the apartment.
