Come and discover Priory Stile, a charming three-bedroom character cottage situated in a picturesque location near the historic market town of Haverfordwest. It enjoys beautiful views across the extensive medieval ruins of Haverfordwest Priory and is only a 2-minute walk to the Priory Saltings Nature Reserve. This delightful cottage, built in the 18th century, has been beautifully restored and retains many original features, such as wooden beams and exposed stone walls while offering modern amenities. The arched front door opens into a welcoming entrance porch with slate flagstones and bench, and a stable door leading into the spacious living room with stairs to the first floor.

The living room features beams, exposed stone walls and a focal fireplace with a wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in with a good movie. The kitchen is well-equipped and well-appointed with a range of fitted units, beams and exposed stone walls. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, down three steps and enjoys a feature window, vaulted ceilings, beams and oak flooring - perfect for formal dining to celebrate that special day. Off the living room is a lobby with a downstairs shower room and a sitting room, which features French doors leading out onto a sunny patio area.

On the first floor are three bedrooms and a bathroom, with the master suite enjoying en-suite facilities and French doors leading to a balcony with views across the garden and priory beyond. The large enclosed gardens are delightful and private, full of birds and wildlife, with various areas to enjoy, including lawns, a sunken garden and a patio area for al fresco dining. There is a pond in the garden housing some newts and steps and different levels, small children should not be left unattended.

The cottage is situated in a tranquil location, yet only a three minute, riverside walk from the nearest pub, a five-minute walk to Haverfordwest town centre, which offers a range of amenities, including shops, restaurants, cinema and farmers’ market, and a 10-minute drive to the wide sandy beach at Broad Haven. To the west of Haverfordwest lies the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, a stunning area of natural beauty that stretches for 186 miles along the Welsh coastline.

To the north of Haverfordwest lies the Preseli Hills, a range of low, rolling hills that are home to ancient standing stones and burial chambers. The hills are also a popular destination for hiking, with numerous trails offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Locally there is a selection of family attractions all within a short drive, including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park.
