Super comfortable, well appointed and clean.
The entire stay was seamless. The owner contacted us via email at appropriate times during our stay, answered questions, and provided an excellent list of local restaurant and winery recommendations. She was super friendly and timely in her responses. Instructions were clear and concise. Thank you, Giada. The Casa was exceptional in every way. Spotless and comfortable, and it was great to have a decent, stocked kitchen, working AC, TV's and an espresso machine, with supplied pods. The location is amazing. You can see Serralunga d'Alba in one direction, and La Morra the other way. These closer Barolo towns are about a 10 minute drive, and others just a little further. I would stay at Casa Borogno again in a heartbeat.

Casa curata e gestita con attenzione
Casa Borgogno è stata ricavata da una vecchia abitazione di campagna ed è stata ristrutturata con arredi e finiture recenti. Gli ambienti sono estremamente ampi, quindi ideali anche per soggiorni prolungati. Al piano terra si trovano la cucina, il salotto e un bagno, mentre ai piani superiori ci sono una camera matrimoniale e una singola con bagno privato nella singola. I gestori Giada e Birgit, si sono dimostrate gentili e disponibili fin dai contatti precedenti all’arrivo. Si percepisce chiaramente la cura e l’attenzione con cui la casa è gestita: la pulizia è impeccabile e la cucina è dotata non solo di tutto il necessario, ma anche di piccole attenzioni molto apprezzate come acqua, pasta, caffè e alimenti per la prima colazione. Le istruzioni chiare hanno reso il self check-in semplice e veloce.
Probabilmente la struttura ha aperto di recente al pubblico, e ci sono solo piccoli dettagli migliorabili. Ad esempio, la camera singola, dotata di bagno privato, potrebbe essere attrezzata con un letto matrimoniale, così da risultare più adatta anche per un adulto o una coppia. Sarebbe inoltre utile aggiungere cuscini di diversa tipologia in entrambe le camere, per offrire maggiore comfort agli ospiti. Unico limite strutturale: il fatto che ci sia un bagno al piano terra e uno all’interno di una delle due camere costringe gli ospiti della camera senza bagno a utilizzare quello al piano terra, ma trattandosi di una ristrutturazione di un’abitazione storica è comprensibile. Infine, aggiungerei qualche appendino in più nei bagni per gli asciugamani.
