Was not told about where the pool was or where to discard rubbish. There were dirty tissues under the bed and there was not adequate PowerPoints in the bedroom

My sister and I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights while holidaying in Melbourne. The location of the building was quite central to tram stops that took us around the free tram zone, as well as walking distance to the Queen Victoria Markets, local supermarkets, and other nice restaurants. The apartment itself was very enjoyable. It has heaps of room, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was a decent size, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also found the apartment was well insulated, considering we stayed in the middle of July. The building's facilities were great too. We very much enjoyed the 50m indoor swimming pool and spa in the evening with very little disturbance. The balcony attached to the apartment was cute; however, we didn't use it much due to the weather. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

The floor our apartment was on had a very bad aroma every time we stepped out of the elevator, and that scent did unfortunately waft into our place. The bathroom walls could definitely use a paint job, with peeling in most of the corners. The balcony door did not have a functioning lock on it, which provided a safety risk with the balcony easily accessible from the roof below (which had a ladder attached). Additionally, we did have a slight issue with a member of the public being antisocial; however the building manager was very prompt with locking down the lobby and ensuring we were safe.

Very little. The location is close to everything and right near the trams. Key was easy to find. The couch in the apartment was comfy and it had a large TV. The owners always replied to me. Spa is nice.

Not suitable for a family. Didn’t realise they don’t even offer a port-a-cot. Beds were wildly uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The couch was honestly comfier, I didn’t sleep the only one night we stayed when it was meant to be four. There’s not many amenities offered and you only get one set of towels for your stay which isn’t ideal with a pool (which is cold btw). The apartment wasnt very clean, stains on the carpet and walls, bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The building itself is run down, stained carpets, part of the roof missing, gave me a really unsettled feeling. We ended up moving accomodation. I reported my issues to the owners and no compensation was offered. I would only suggest staying here for 1 or 2 nights if it’s just you and one other person as it is affordable. But honestly you’ll see why it’s better to stay elsewhere and pay a bit more
