Short and sweet but definitely one to remember for future visits.

We were staying purely as a stop over. Place was easy to find, easy to access, very comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathroom. We arrived late and left early but would happily stay here for an extended trip to the area.

Lovely cosy clean cottage ideal for family getaway

have stayed here many times with my daughter and granddaughter, lovely clean, tidy cosy cottage, plenty of hot water. breakfast was excellent, lovely little pastries & plenty of coffee, supplies for a fry in the fridge for us, bread, ham, butter, milk also. lovely private garden with stream along the seating area. loads of parking space beside house which was good. great value for a whole house uninterrupted, will definitely return.

Disappointed

The house was very dirty, there was crumbs on the benches, dirty dishes in the cupboard, out of date milk and pkt of opened ham and cheese in the fridge. There was long blonde hairs on the kitchen and bathroom floor and the bedding did not seem to be clean. The accommodation is all very comfortable but the cleanliness and hygiene was very poor. I prefer to say nothing rather than complain but this was a very disappointing experience for my grandchildren.

Our stay at river cottage.

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 days at River Cottage. We are a family of 5 3 adults and 1 year old twins. The cottage was very clean and tidy , comfortable beds. Breakfast bread and milk left for us in the fridge was excellent. Bonus of having babies with us the washing machine excellent. Will definitely book this cottage again. Jim & Jackie from Scotland .

Ideal for families, couples, or friends who want a quiet retreat

A lovely little cottage right next to a babbling brook. Great facilities, delicious breakfast, peaceful surroundings.

The directions are a little off. It’s further than 200 yards down the road from the garage. Past the Hyundai garage, next junction turn left. Up a slight incline and the cottage is just after hiilcrest view on the left facing the road. Enjoy

Great little cottage in Mullingar

Location was great, very easy to find. House is well equipped and had everything we could possibly need.

Bitterly disappointing

We could not stay in the property as the shower was not fit for purpose and was not included in the property’s photos for a reason. We travelled 150 miles to find a shower full of mould which would be highly unhygienic to use. When we rang the owner he promised us a refund and was apologetic but since the owner has went back on his promise to refund us. We could not stay in this property. The owner will not respond to messages or phone calls.

Séjour d’une nuit en transfert entre deux régions.

La maison est coquette et possède un bon potentiel avec un équipement adapté pour un séjour agréable. Nous avons apprécié le lit d’appoint fait dans la buanderie.

Les draps n’étaient pas propres (cheveux dans le lit) dans une des chambres, heureusement il y en avait dans l’armoire, nous avons changé les draps. L’ensemble de la maison était sale.
