Canal View Lodge & Spa - Entire 3 Bed Lodge

Lovely and quite.

We had a lovely stay in one of the lodges. Right on the canal it is so peaceful there. Our 3year old and 1 year old could bomb around the 3bed lodge with ease and the kitchen had everything you’d need. Very family friendly and close to shops and restaurants and a very cool 2000 year old bog road with free entry to its visitor centre in Keenagh 👌The spa is pure bliss too and Alan couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll be back!

Travelled there with my Son & Grandaughter. The cabin was beautifully decorated, so comfortable & everything we needed. All set up in a beautiful field with gated access & a wellness cabin nearby which my grandaughter & son thoroughly enjoyed with Hot Tub, cold plunge etc, We had trouble getting in the gate due to my own fault for not reading the email on how to access & Alan came down to let us in & we had a great chat. He was a lovely man & he gave us names of places to go to eat that evening in the nearby town & shope for groceries if needed. And the friendly pub only a walk away in the road where we had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Its so dark then at night which allows a lovely view of the stars if the clouds are clear. I know its a new venture for them & we wish them every success in the summers ahead & we look forward to returning for longer the next time.

All the bedrooms are comfortable but one bedroom has bunk beds which is perfectly fine for smaller children but too close together for teens or adults .... as pointed out by my 16 yr grandaughter who likes to toss & turn LOL. Cant fault the place otherwise.

What a wonderful surprise! The place was actually even better than it looked in the pictures, which is quite rare. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and the quality was excellent. We had such a lovely, relaxing stay and really enjoyed the quality time spent here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and peaceful stay. We would happily come back again!
