Antiklea Villa

The views and outside space were fantastic. The Villa was very traditional and had a lot of Greek character. Everything that was needed. Communication was great with Aristoteli he was very helpful

The location and apartment is great, a veranda overlooking the harbour with lots of flowers. The house is charming with a lot of personality, and well chosen paintings and other decorative items which make it feel homely. Good kitchen as well. There was a minor mixup about the previous guests leaving time, so we were sent off to have a free lunch at the owners expense - to a very good restaurant, so no complaints there! A very helpful man, Aristoteli, looks after the property who will attend to any issues as well as being friendly and welcoming.

They do warn you about the steps up to the house - it is a climb up uneven stone steps, so be aware of that if you are not fit, or have heavy luggage. But it also means it is quiet and hidden away, although not far from shops and cafes.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze villa. Het huisje is comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles voelt verzorgd en het is een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. De tuin is prachtig, met mooie bloemen en planten. Het uitzicht is echt geweldig en maakt het verblijf extra bijzonder. Ook de ligging is ideaal: dichtbij het centrum van Vati en vlakbij een supermarkt. De host, Aristoteles, is ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. Hij doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken en is altijd bereikbaar als er iets is. We hebben genoten en zouden deze plek zeker aanraden!

A cosy house (sleeps 2+1+1) that's about a 5min walk from Vathi centre: close enough to be within easy reach of the centre and far enough away that there's no noise. All the facilities are simple but in good working order and there are a few friendly cats as a bonus :) The contact in Vathy (Telis) was also an absolute gem - very helpful and replied to a couple of daft questions kindly and quickly. Final tip would be to arrange a taxi pickup from the ferryport through the property (unless you're bringing your own car). The ferry lands a 15min taxi ride from Vathi and a taxi over will set you back about €15. We then rented a small car to drive around the island.
