Itaka is a beautiful island but to have in addition the opportunity to explore it from a tradicional and such nice house as Poly offers, makes it better. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor area surrounded by the garden is perfect for breakfasts and a quite dinner. Also, there is a nice coffee next to the house and other Vathi restaurants are a walking distance.
The hospitality of Poly is great. He received us with the fridge well supplied and gave us products from his kitchen garden.
We will be looking forward to come back!

We loved our holiday at Selinofoto. The location is perfect, few meters from the sea, that you can see through the lemon trees, with the boats entering and leaving the bay. really not far from the center. a very nice bar the other side of the road. the house itself was enough big for us. I loved the fact we were in a real house with its history, with no ikea furnitures! and we had a cat as a friend, my kids were so happy! thank you to Poly and his warm kindness, with presents from the garden and more. it was perfect holiday.

Very welcoming host who helped us with recommendations for the best beaches, restaurants and everything else we wanted to know about the island. The host met us on the first day and showed us round the house and had left a fridgeful of provisions.
Enjoyed siting in the garden with the massive pot of basil, climbing vine and jasmine.
Some of the door and window frames need trimming, but I guess this adds to the old-house charm.

Selinofoto is a charming and lovely traditional home with a fantastic garden, great facilities and the most generous host, Poly.
We were provided with provisions for breakfast and more - we felt so welcome and loved some of the homemade delights.
Poly was kind, thoughtful and gave us some great suggestions on beaches and places to visit.
Beds were very comfortable and our little 16 month old had the nicest cot bed we have experienced since travelling as a young family.
A great home with plenty of space for our little one to run around in a great location. We really enjoyed having an end of the day drink at the sweet bar down below.
And we loved Tigger the (outdoor) cat 🐱
This place was perfect for us.
