Kioni - Andriana's House

Beautiful house with stunning views overlooking the sea and Kioni port , meticuluosly clean, we got homemade marmalade from lovely Mrs. Andriana who takes exceptional care of the house and her guests like her family and made us feel like at home. Comfortable beds, lovely little kitchen, we also could use at any time the laundry room which is important if you come with family. Walking distance to two beautiful beaches and nearby little port with cafes and restaurants. This was the highlight of our holidays and im sure we will be back.

Andriana was a great hostess! She welcomed us with homemade kumquat jam, beer & bottled water in the fridge, and biscuit bread. She brought us more towels. She made us fresh halva and brought it down to us one morning. She took the time to show us how the Nespresso machine worked. All amenities (including the coffee) were in the kitchen. She provides toiletries. She doesn't speak much English but that's okay - I speak very little Greek, but we're both very proficient in Google translate! The place was spotlessly clean & decorated beautifully. She really cared about our comfort and was very proud of her beautiful place. It seemed like she truly wanted us to enjoy her home and love it as much as she does! The location itself is just a short 5 min walk to the town center and an even shorter walk to the beaches. It is very quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the town & cove.

This isn't Andriana's fault at all but there is no parking at her place. So if you rent a car, you'll have to find another spot and walk to it. If you've ever been to Greek village towns, you'll know that the streets are only one lane in the town so there are very few places to park along the side. However, we found a small parking lot a 2-min walk down the road called Argiris and he rents parking spaces for €7/day. He also rents rooms. So we would just walk a short distance to the car & be on our way. Maybe just one other thing I would suggest for Andriana is to provide a beach towel for the guests. Andriana has bath towels of course, but they are not allowed on the beach. Since the beaches are one of the main attractions, and no one wants to take up huge space in their luggage for beach towels, it would be nice to have them. Overall, this stay was fantastic. 5 stars!

Andriana is deservedly proud of her home, she looks after it meticulously and is a wonderful neighbour, often bringing gifts. The view is magical to wake up to each day, the sunrise is spectacular.
