La Torre dell'Architetto

A great base for exploring Tivoli's Villa d'Este & Villa Adriano. We had no car, so having access to the two bikes, even though they were a bit uncomfortable for our size, was great. After 6 weeks travelling in cities throughout Europe, the setting was a nice change. The managers, Alessia & Pietro, were lovely; attentive, responsive, trés sympa!

The mosquitos! The place is simply not designed to keep them out. Every window opening allows them in. It was not possible to feel the country air. Nor could you sit outside; it's a low-lying area so mosquitos were everywhere. Having the lights on in the house at night lured them in. It was June, but the whole of Europe was having a heat-wave; only the two a/c's kept the temperature inside manageable. At night, some farmer nearby was burning off something, so the air became smoky. And to cap things off, the property owners' huge dogs were unleashed, barking at all hours of the day & night.

Ubytování blízko olivových sadů bylo skvělé se samostatným vchodem přes zahradu, ke bylo příjemné posezení. Do historického centra Tivoli i do Říma bylo blízko, stejně jako do malých městeček v okolí. Ideální k poznávání památek a procházkám.

Byla jsem spokojená se vším, nic bych neměnila.

Amazing location surrounded by olive trees garden! Apartment inside the ancient tower! Conveniently located next to the Villa Adriana and 10 min to Tivoli. Very atmospheric historic place! Parking on the property- great convenience! Garden is magnificent.

The only tiny minus is very small space for cooking and eating inside. Would be nice to have a small coffee table or anything to have a small dinner on the first floor.

Posizione comoda per visitare Villa Adriana, piccolo bilocale carino, dotato di ripide scale di accesso esterno e di scale interne, posto su due livelli. Gentilezza delle persone deputate alla gestione della struttura.

Rubinetto della cucina non funzionante, sciacquone del water perdente acqua, entrambe le problematiche sono state risolte in serata; presenza di due cani da guardia della proprietà che sono risultati molesti, abbaiavano mostrando i denti e con bava alla bocca ogni qualvolta si usciva di casa. Segnalati gli inconvenienti a Booking.com che ci ha rimborsato parzialmente della spesa del soggiorno. Forse con un po più di attenzione e di cura la struttura potrebbe migliorare l’accoglienza.
