Spectacular comfort in this cozy designer property... the decor is stunning with an Irish literary theme. The rooms in this old former nunnery are quiet and have a luxurious feel... ours had an old style bath in the window. The welcome from the staff is warm and witty and breakfast is excellent. Not far from city centre restaurants and the river.
Nothing out of place in The Lawrence... a very high standard of facilities and guest care. Roaring fire in the bar. If I wanted to be picky I'd say the on street parking might be a bit tricky sometimes but it's fine for its city location.

The property had been restored, decorated and furnished so that it reflected the period in which it was built. It had many original features and was well maintained. The breakfast offer was very good. The service was excellent and the rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries and welcome a decent welcome tray. It was close to the city centre, being only a 10 minute walk to the city walls.
There was nothing to dislike.
