Super friendly host ,very clean room,comfy,warm, fridge,microwave,sachet if hit chocolate with couple of biscuits aswell as little bottle of orange and bottle of water,only a short 10 minute walk from the station,perfect all rojnd

The room smelt rather bad and lots of loud pipework. There were also lots of screaming children in the background

What a great place to stay in you need a bed for the night. Everything is handed by phone and text. Parking at the rear of the property, nice clean room and we'll sorted en suite. The design of my room made it a bit of a squeeze getting around the double bed. Good amenities including a drinks fridge with complimentary water and juice included as well as tea and coffee making facilities and a small oven, ironing board and cooling tower fan. 25 minutes walk to Castle Park

Overnighter so just wanted a bed. On the plus side it was basic clean and good value. Hall could do with some air freshener but room was great. No staff but the check in and out worked. One other nice touch was a fridge and microwave in the room.

Nice room with large ensuite. Only stayed 1 night but room was quiet and very comfortable. 20 mins walk to main centre. Only bad thing was roadworks and diversions everywhere but not property's fault!

Our stay was okay. The bed was a bit lumpy when we sat on it, but we seemed to sleep okay. The bathroom was huge, with 2 sinks, a toilet, bidet & separate shower, but there is no way we would’ve used the shower, so was glad there was a bath to use, which was bigger than average! The shower looked like it would’ve been a good experience, but the shower heads were mouldy & the outlets were so full of limescale, it just made us cringe! In fact everything had lots of limescale on it, which indicates inefficient cleaning! The room had a kettle, but it was made of plastic and smelt awful when boiling water in it & affected the taste of the tea. It really should be replaced by a metal/glass one, or one with a different type of plastic. We have stayed in many hotels/b&bs and have never experienced this before with a kettle, or the state of limescale/mould in a bathroom. I would’ve asked for a different kettle if we stayed more than one night! Pro’s: Good sized room & bathroom for 3 people. Complimentary bottle of water each in fridge. The use of a small fridge & microwave and 3 bowls & spoons to use which we found handy as we ordered a takeaway. Complimentary tea/coffee/milk sachets. Parking space on property. Plenty of sockets for appliances. Con’s: Cheap plastic kettle giving off plastic fumes when boiling water. Terrible limescale and mould in shower and on taps, shows lack of care to cleaning. Wasn’t aware our room was at the top of a steep flight of stairs.
