About this house rental
Enjoy our perfectly imperfect lake house, with stunning sunsets every night! Although we welcome families with children, we want to be perfectly clear that this is a 100+ year old house, and is not child proof. It has steep stairs, with 3 of the 4 bedrooms on second story. Must walk across the street to access lake. We love the charm of our old house. Long stairs in house may not be suitable for all. In garage behind home lives full time tenant that is aware of privacy of your stay. :)
We love the character of our old colonial farmhouse on the lake! We love being in the east side of the lake, enjoying magnificent sunsets every night, and an extra hour of sunshine at the end of the day. We love being on the north end of the lake, close to town for dining and supplies. We love being just right up the street from the famous Shoreless Acres general store from yesteryear, and the yummy options at Serious Food. We love our morning coffee on the front porch while enjoying the view of the lake. We love the coziness of our lakeside lot, and walking the hill behind our house for extra special views of the entire lake!

Families with small children welcome, but please know this property is not the most suitable for children due to steep stairs, road that needs to be crossed, and break wall.
DISCLOSURE:
Although this house is large enough to fit more guests, we are adamant about only renting to small groups. Absolutely no parties or get togethers on property, guests only. Please respect our disclosure, if we see large groups of people we will ask guests to leave and deposit will be forfeited.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL of neighbors and do not park in front of their homes or anywhere on their property
Lake life is the best! Especially on the northeast side of beautiful Conesus Lake! Lazy relaxing days, bonfires, boating, fishing, swimming, cookouts, everything that forever memories are made of!

Property was as described in listing. Inside was clean and there was plenty of space. My family and I had a wonderful time there and would definitely rent again if visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the living room was beautiful. There were 5 adults and an infant. It easily accommodated us with lots of room.
Did not get a chance to use the hidden chess board, but we did make s’mores in the fire pit by the lake.
It has a lot of charm and, if we are back in the area, we would try to get it again.

We took the family for an extra long weekend. Everyone had a blast being able to jump off the dock and use the kayaks that we brought. House was big with a great view of the water. The listing is accurate, its an older house with charm. Very clean, would stay again.
