Great venue, had most of what we needed.
Beds really noisy, no light switches worked, not able to have a window open In the front bedroom as its patio doors and don’t want to sleep with a door wide open.

Ocean Swell is a wonderful apartment that has absolutely everything you need for a great holiday. Our daughter loved the swimming pool, and the views are just beautiful. This was our second time staying here, and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again!

The Location was Excellent for Widemouth Bay and a short ride to Bude. Great Cliff top walks.
A nice welcome hamper of Apple juice, crisps , Cornish fudge , T Bags & Cornish shortbread biscuits also milk in the fridge, fairy liquid , toilet rolls , hand soap, Clean towels , tea towel

The Chalet was very clean But …The Property has a Damp Smell a very strong Odour,that is there all the time , and it felt damp at night .
Also it is a shame the pool on site doesn’t open till 3pm in the afternoon
As an early riser it would have been lovely to go do a mid morning Swim, especially as the weather was awful for the first 3 days of our holiday.

The location. The choice of decor and overall ambiance of the interior. The layout worked well. Good shower. Wonderful view of the bay from the patio area. The ease of simply sitting right outside the door and watching the night sky. The peace and quiet of the location. The availability of the well maintained onsite swimming pool and bar along with the friendliness of the staff.
Oh my goodness that double bed was a nightmare to sleep in. Too firm.
The damp odours which did largely dissipate with opening up all the windows and doors as a daily ritual.
I’d personally prefer a proper table somewhere inside even if it was a drop leaf variety.
The tiny sink in the bathroom seemed to be an unnecessary restriction in an otherwise perfect setup.
The hot water temperature should be checked because it was too hot!
