About this cottage rental
The heart of the home is the open-plan living area, where the kitchen looks out across the valley and a traditional local slate floor adds to its country feel. It's a bright and welcoming space for cooking, dining, and relaxing together, with a fully equipped kitchen and large dining table.
There are three comfortable bedrooms — two doubles, one with an en suite shower room, and a twin. A second family shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower completes the accommodation, along with a handy utility room for washing and storage.
Outside, Olive Tree shares a pretty rose garden courtyard with Rosemary Cottage, a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine as evening falls. Guests can also enjoy a large communal picnic area with benches and space for barbecues, offering sweeping views across the valley and a real sense of countryside tranquillity.
A stroll along the bridlepath leads directly to Black Rock Beach at Widemouth Bay, dog-friendly all year round and ideal for surfing, swimming, or simply enjoying the sand between your toes. There's a welcoming pub serving hearty meals and local ales just 500 yards away, while the South West Coast Path offers spectacular walks and sunsets right on your doorstep. The seaside town of Bude, only four miles away, provides shops, cafés, and plenty to do for all ages.
