Villa Bella Dona

The house is new, extremely well furnished, lots of utensils, very clean. The owner even left some beer, wine, coal for barbecue, dishwasher and laundry soap. The pool was well enjoyed. The owner is very quick to respond to all questions and offers good tips when we asked about restaurants, beaches and parking in Split.

The description claims that it is 5min from a beach. That place is more like a sewer. It also claims a sea view. I suppose there is a partial sea view from the bedroom terrace but nothing one can really enjoy. That said, the main deception was that it is in an industrial zone, view on a cement factory and surrounding by construction work. All the houses around are construction. Also we were hoping for a quaint part of Castelo and this is not at all. A car is indispensable.

Stunning high quality villa in a great location. The host is exceptional. Took us to the supermarket when we arrived & nothing was too much trouble. Even provided extra sunbeds for our group. Uber taxi to Split only €10 so it’s the perfect location!!
