Waters edge

What an amazing place. Beautiful setting with pond, trees, rural setting, big patio to watch the wildlife (guinea fowl,water voles, ducks) - so peaceful and serene. Pristine cleanliness and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Great shower and double bed. A pair of fabulous friendly spaniels (owners can keep them away if you prefer but they were delightful and very playful - but not to be fed, which we somehow managed to resist!). The cottage is on the owner's property. Set aside, kinda out of view - but not for you if you want a place that is totally private and secluded. We didn't. We loved it. Very friendly family of lovely people. Great location for us for a visit to the Big Cat Sanctuary - about 30 mins or so away. We also visited the amazing Leeds Castle - fabulous stately home, kids activities and birds of prey. Wonderful experience. We will return.

Het was een heerlijke accommodatie je had een fijn huisje voor jezelf en alles erop en eraan. Keuken met alles erop en eraan, badkamer slaapkamer en living. Echt heel ruim en compleet. Je moest wel zelf voor je ontbijt zorgen maar dat was ook wel even fijn na een heleboel Engelse ontbijt. Met ei en alles wat daar bij hoort.

Je kon niet makkelijk om het bed heen lopen. Verder geen problemen.

Well designed space, easy to use and very comfortable. The location at the waters edge was gorgeous and we felt very welcome and relaxed.

Nothing really! My husband who works with wood noticed that the windows needed work but that didn’t bother us!
