Maioliche Apartment

Good location, nice inside and kind host.

Power grid gets overwhelmed if too many things are turned on.

The location is perfect! Beds were comfy. Having 2 showers for 4 of us worked great. Also having a washer was very helpful when you're living out of a carry-on for 6 weeks. 🤗 Communication was excellent.

There's no lift 😞 not necessarily a bad thing. You'll work out your legs and glutes, daily. Lol

The location on Via Etnea was excellent. Coffee shop directly in front of the apartment was quaint and good value. Bathrooms were excellent and very clean. Fast and dependable Wi Fi.

It felt impersonal. We were not greeted by the host nor was there any information about the neighborhood or our surroundings. No suggestions about restaurants, food supplies, etc. The doors were not easy to operate, It should be stressed that the third floor apartment consisted of a ground floor and three more for a total of 78 stairs with intermittent lighting. Even with relatively light luggage it was challenging. The electricity was not consistent even though we only had the air conditioning units on. However, when called, the host did respond. Note, when electric off, we also had no water.
